THE LEGEND

That girl who let go of everything
her love, her family, her name,
now had no regret
even if in the eyes of her family
she had no fame.

Now she is sixty years old
with wrinkled skin and trembling feet,
sat at the bank of the same river
with heart full of glee.

She was no lonnger a sixteen year old
with broken heart and wings trying to flap,
she had fought her battle
and was happily watching the sun die.

She knew she was happy
for she was the hero of her own story,
she had fought every battle on her own
and now her empire was the sign of her victory.

She was satisfied that she fough
and followed the path her dream made,
otherwise her story would be
another wish that was never said.

She talked, she fought, she loved, she hated
but in the end she did what her heart said,
she ruled the world on her terms
and now she was ready to end her book.

She was the fire, she was a star
she so fragile and yet so strong
her confidence oozed out one last time
for she was so sure her story was at last told.

The sun died in the west
and that brave empress in the east,
her fave was so calm and happy
knowing that her chapter was complete.

Under the stars, in the bright moonlight
where the legend was born, there she died.
Her book began with scarlet red,
but now was ending with bright gold.

The sixteen year old
Woke up from her old and happy body,
Glared at stars, and then started walking towards the light of satisfaction,
followed by the demons, now her army!
